Kitchen Assistant

The employer is looking for a: Banconista / Kitchen Assistant (reported profession) Tasks: Kitchen activities: • preparation and cutting of ingredients (e.g. tuna, chicken, shrimp, vegetables) • preparation of poke bowls according to Maui Poke recipes • control and unloading of incoming goods • cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area Counter activities: • customer reception and management • cash register management (opening, closing, accounting reconciliation) • refill of counters and product display management • opening and closing of the point of sale with cleaning of the room Requirements: • dynamic and responsible person to be included in the team with mixed tasks of banconista and kitchen assistant. • experience also minimal in similar roles (counter or kitchen) • flexibility, reliability and ability to work in a team • care of personal hygiene and respect of health regulations (including having short and well-groomed nails) • excellent relational skills with the customer • good knowledge of the English language (for interaction with international customers) • basic knowledge of German and excellent knowledge of Italian Employment details: • place of work Lugano • employment from 70% - 90% • employment immediately, indefinite period • shift work, Sunday work and holiday work • the person will work approximately 30-35 hours a week, with shift hours, including Saturday. • salary payment based on the CCNL of the hotel and restaurant sector What we offer: • young and dynamic environment • initial training on standards and procedures • opportunities for growth within the brand
