Allrounder*in Reception (limited-term) Workplace: Youth Hostel Crans-Montana "Bella Lui" Scope of work: By agreement, at least 60% Duration: Limited-term from immediately or by agreement until 18. October 2026 (possibility of contract renewal for the winter season exists) About us: Youth Hostel Crans-Montana – Where hospitality shines in the best light "Bella Lui" means "beautiful light" in the original Valais dialect. Our historic youth hostel – a former sanatorium on a high plateau – does justice to this name. With three sun terraces and a breathtaking view of the Valais Alps, it is the perfect retreat for outdoor enthusiasts, families, and international travelers. Here, team spirit is highly valued. We treat our guests and ourselves as equals – uncomplicated, warm, and professional. To strengthen our team at the front, we are looking for an enthusiastic all-rounder for our reception from immediately or by agreement. Your tasks -As the face and voice of our youth hostel, you are the first point of contact for our guests and ensure a smooth stay: -Warm welcome: You check in and out our international guests, manage the cash register, and give them a welcome feeling from the first minute. -Competent advice: You provide insider tips on the best bike trails, hiking trails, or ski slopes in the region and sell our additional services. -Administrative support: You process room reservations, answer emails, and take phone calls. -All-rounder mentality: Since we are a small, dynamic team, you also help out in other areas (e.g., breakfast service or housekeeping) when needed. Your profile -You are an organizational talent with a big heart for people and love variety: -Language genius: You communicate fluently in German, French, and/or English (word and writing). Every additional language is a plus. -Experience: You have ideally already gained initial experience in the hotel industry, tourism, or customer service. Lateral entrants with the right mindset are also warmly welcome! -Personality: You are flexible (evening, weekend, holiday, and part-time services are the rule, not an exception), keep an overview even in hectic moments, and have a winning, open demeanor. -PC skills: You easily handle common MS Office programs; experience with hotel booking systems is an advantage but not a must.
