Thun, the beautiful city on the lake! We are one of four secondary schools in the city of Thun. Up to 220 students are taught, promoted, and supported at our school by dedicated teachers, special education teachers, and school social work. Tasks ###

You accompany and support students with special needs in establishing learning prerequisites as well as technical, personal, social, and methodological competencies. You teach individual students and/or small groups and/or work with entire classes or in the learning atelier. You plan the lessons together and in consultation with the subject and class teachers. In doing so, you also provide suitable learning materials. Together with the school management, which is responsible for the MR area in the school building, and the coordinating special education teacher, you cover the entire spectrum of MR measures at the OS Buchholz. You contribute expertise to school development projects and participate in the school team and school events.

Requirements ###

Your profile: - Completed training as a school special education teacher (alternatively in a Master's program in School Special Education) - You have already undergone further training on the topics of behavior and absenteeism and bring experience and proven approaches for dealing with adolescents with behavioral issues. - You know and apply training for the development of executive functions. - You enjoy working in class teams and groups. - You have dealt with the new authority, support this approach, have ideally attended further training, and apply the seven pillars. - You find it easy to establish networking with teachers and parents. - You are open to new things, are very team-oriented and collegial, and can navigate existing structures of the public school. - You are committed and flexible.
