What you do ##

Operation & continuous improvement (Run)

• Level 2 support: processing of tickets, diagnosis and resolution of common malfunctions on the virtualization infrastructures VDI Omnissa Horizon, Workspace ONE, Windows and Linux
• Daily control of the subordinate infrastructures, monitoring and processing of infrastructure warnings, review of reports, resolution of common errors as well as escalation of complex cases
• Operation and ongoing management of the VDI environment Omnissa Horizon: maintenance work, installation of patches as well as monitoring of performance
• Administration of the platforms VMware vSphere and Workspace ONE as well as monitoring their proper operation
• Administration of the Microsoft 365 environment, with a special focus on Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and SharePoint Online
• Management and administration of the strong authentication solution Imprivata
• Coordination with the network team to integrate network requirements into the server and virtualization infrastructures that fall within your area of responsibility
• Implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity policies in cooperation with the Cyber Security department
• Technical maintenance, securing and continuous further development of the subordinate IT infrastructure
• Active participation in projects related to the modernization, automation and optimization of these infrastructures and services
• Participation in the on-call service according to the deployment plan

Documentation & Quality

• Creation and maintenance of detailed documentation of the infrastructures in French or German
• Creation of technical documentation in English
• Compliance with defined escalation processes for malfunctions that cannot be resolved at Level 2
• Implementation of the security guidelines and rules specified by the Cyber Security department as well as reporting identified non-conformities

What distinguishes you ##

• Education in the field of computer science (EFZ, apprenticeship or equivalent training)
• Proven experience in Level 2 IT support and/or in system and infrastructure administration, ideally in a hospital environment
• Sound knowledge in VDI virtualization with Omnissa Horizon as well as in the administration of VMware vSphere
• Good knowledge in the installation and administration of Windows and Linux servers
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 environment, especially Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and SharePoint Online
• Experience in the administration of Workspace ONE
• Knowledge of the strong authentication solution Imprivata is an advantage
• Knowledge of Fortinet security solutions (FortiGate, FortiAuthenticator, FortiMail) is an advantage
• Sensitivity to cybersecurity topics as well as good knowledge of the corresponding best practices
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in PowerShell scripting
• Collaboration in the updating and maintenance of the monitoring system WhatsUp Gold
• Strong teamwork skills and good communication skills
• Ability to process defined tasks independently and to work closely with the employees of Digital & Technology
• Careful, reliable and service-oriented way of working
• Native language German or French, with good knowledge of the respective other language
• Good basic knowledge of technical English
