Die Bundeskanzlei - The staff office of the Federal Council As the staff office of the Federal Council, die Bundeskanzlei supports the government in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of Federal Council meetings. It conducts and coordinates the communication of the Federal Council and develops political planning for the government. It organizes events of the Federal Council in corpore and supports the Federal Presidency. Furthermore, die Bundeskanzlei organizes the votes and elections at the federal level. It is the contact point for initiative or referendum committees and examines the occurrence of popular initiatives. In addition, die Bundeskanzlei supports and coordinates the digital transformation of the Federal Administration.
