Apprentice training constitutes a fundamental pillar of Mikron's values and the transmission of our know-how. As a polymecanic apprentice trainer, you play a key role in developing the talents of tomorrow by accompanying them throughout their journey. Through engaged and concrete pedagogy, you contribute to their professional success while ensuring learning aligned with the technical requirements and quality standards of our industry.

Main responsibilities

• Giving CIE courses (Manual machining techniques, conventional, CNC, metrology, assembly)
• Leading apprentices toward success through motivating pedagogy and the valorization of their work
• Transmitting information to management in the form of a cockpit (cost monitoring, status of commitments, apprentice production via SAP)
• Managing investment requests (machines, accessories) and purchases.
• Planning and organizing the weekly workload for each apprentice (MAP, machine usage, monitoring of manufactured parts) and signing the apprentices' work logs and absences.
• Conflict management, applying internal rules in case of non-compliance with company values, organizing meetings with parents if necessary
• Collaborating with training partners (COMEC, Swissmem, CPNE, schools)
• Participating in semi-annual exchanges with local training centers
• Organizing open houses, internships for future apprentices, pedagogical and recreational events
• Managing pedagogical outings (teambuilding, skiing, industrial visits)
• Planning individual interviews and qualification reports every 6 months.
• Motivating apprentices to participate in competitions such as SwissSkills or IndustrieSkills.

Your profile

• CFC polymecanic
• Mastery of CNC machining with use of CAM (3 axes and 5 axes)
• Knowledge of Mastercam or other
• Experience of at least 3-4 years
• Experience in leading and training personnel, ideally young apprentices in a mechanical workshop (an advantage)
• CIE trainer certificate (600h) (an advantage), possibility to complete it while employed
• Management training (an advantage)
• Knowledge of MS-Office and ERP software (an advantage)
