At the Kantonsgericht, a demanding legal activity with diverse insights into jurisprudence awaits you. You will support judges in complex proceedings and, with your professional expertise, make an important contribution to careful decisions.

Your tasks

• You support judges in case instruction, decision-making, and process management, contributing your sound legal assessment.
• You independently draft judgment and decision drafts in all areas of civil law (excluding family law) as well as in civil and criminal procedural law.
• Where legal questions are particularly demanding or of fundamental importance, you analyze the relevant aspects in depth and develop clear as well as viable solution approaches.
• During court hearings and judgment deliberations, you are close to the decision-making process, keep the minutes, and contribute your legal perspective in an advisory capacity.
• In close exchange with judges and the team, you combine professional independence with cooperation and thereby contribute to the quality and consistency of jurisprudence.

Your profile

• A completed legal degree as well as an attorney's license form the basis of your qualification.
• Ideally, you bring professional experience in civil and/or criminal law, for example from work at a court, at a public prosecutor's office, or in the legal profession.
• You grasp complex facts quickly, work in a structured and careful manner, and independently find convincing solutions even with demanding legal questions.
• A high level of commitment, an efficient way of working, and very good written expression are among your strengths. You also maintain an overview even with several parallel tasks.
• You look forward to an appreciative, collegial team.
