Support persons for families with Dari/Farsi as a native language

Fürs Leben gut (https://www.fuerslebengut.ch/) -- that is our motto. The Amt für Jugend und Berufsberatung (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as career counseling. Children, adolescents, and families are at the center of our work. We advocate for them every day with a lot of passion and commitment. As part of the Integrationsagenda Zürich (IAZH), the office for the districts of Bülach and Dielsdorf has expanded its range of services. Native-speaking support persons, so-called key persons, inform, accompany, and network refugee families with preschool children and status S, N, F and B in the Bülach and Dielsdorf district to offers that are interesting to them.

We are looking for a support person for the languages Dari/Farsi on an hourly basis, starting immediately or by arrangement. The position is temporarily limited until the end of 2027.

Your main tasks:

• Home visits to families with preschool-age children in the municipalities of the Bülach and Dielsdorf districts
• Making early childhood development offers known to families and accompanying families there
• Networking with local early childhood development offers
• Close cooperation and coaching with the project coordinator
• Regular participation in case discussions, meetings, and training sessions

You bring with you:

• Migration experience and fluent oral as well as written knowledge in several of the above-mentioned languages
• Good German skills (level B2)
• High degree of independence, flexibility, and social competence
• Knowledge of offers such as family centers, playgroups, daycare centers, etc.
• If possible, experience in similar areas of activity
