Starting situation ###

You know air freight and know that with one shipment, sometimes ten things happen at once. That is exactly when you keep an overview. For a freight forwarding company, we are looking for a personality who has their air freight shipments under control and at the same time enjoys working with key accounts.

Vacancy No. 6713 ##

Tasks ###

• processing and monitoring of air freight shipments in import and export
• looking after existing key accounts and processing daily customer inquiries
• organizing collections, bookings and onward transport
• creating and checking air freight and customs documents
• coordinating with airlines, handling agents, customers and international partners
• monitoring lead times and shipment status and reacting when something does not run according to plan
• searching for and finding solutions in the event of irregularities or short-term changes

Requirements ###

• completed training as a freight forwarding agent (Speditionskaufmann/-frau) or a comparable training
• professional experience in air freight, import and/or export
• good knowledge of the processes in the air freight business and in export/import processing
• independent and reliable way of working
• enjoyment of customer contact and of taking things into your own hands

MS-Office - user knowledge

This is not about simply forwarding customer inquiries and hoping that someone takes care of them. You are close to the customer, know their shipments and ensure that things run. The team works in an uncomplicated manner and at eye level - and if a shipment urgently needs to go out five minutes before the acceptance deadline, that should be more of a challenge than a catastrophe for you.
