Apple Computer Technician (80-100%)

Cropmark AG has been active in the Apple Macintosh market as a dynamic and innovative distributor since 1991. In addition to the entire Apple product range, we distribute well-known brands as well as our own brand LMP, whose products we sell worldwide via a distribution network. As an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP), we carry out repairs of Apple devices in-house. Our customers include specialist retailers, retailers and distributors at home and abroad, as well as a smaller proportion of private customers (repairs in-house).

The Tasks

• Carrying out repairs of all Apple Macintosh hardware as part of our activity as an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP)
• Ordering and managing spare parts via Apple GSX
• Creating fault diagnoses and cost estimates
• Configuration of hardware according to customer wishes (NAS & RAID systems)
• Support for macOS and iOS devices as well as the products and brands distributed by us (in-house and by telephone)
• Carrying out and documenting series of functional tests as part of our product new development

The Profile

You have completed technical training as an Informatiker EFZ or in a related field, or you have professional experience in dealing with Apple hardware as well as macOS and iOS, preferably in the area of repairs or installations. Ideally, you have a certification as an Apple Technician (ASE). You are experienced in dealing with customers and can provide support in German and English (in-house and by telephone). You are used to working independently and accurately, but you also move within a team without hesitation. You follow the development of new (Apple) hardware and software and are open to new things in the area of Apple macOS and iOS devices.
