For our AFR Export Gateway team in Kloten, we are looking for a committed, assertive and service-oriented personality as Teamleader/in AFR Export Gateway. In this versatile leadership role, you will take responsibility for a team of up to 8 employees and ensure efficient, high-quality operations in the daily export gateway business.

Your tasks

Leadership & Personnel Development

• Functional and personnel leadership of the AFR Export Gateway team
• Conducting employee appraisals and performance reviews according to HR guidelines
• Ensuring optimal deployment planning, utilization and organization of the team
• Support and coaching of employees in day-to-day business
• Control of working hours, holiday planning

Operational Responsibility

• Responsibility for the operational processing and monitoring of Export Consols, in compliance with BAZL regulations
• Planning, steering and optimization of Swiss export and cross-border consols
• Ensuring timely completions according to the flight schedule
• Cooperation with airlines, agents, partners and international DHL stations
• Bookings and reservations with airlines and business partners
• Monitoring of shipments, milestones and departure controls
• Ensuring quality standards in the areas of documentation, goods handling and shipment tracking
• Continuous analysis and optimization of existing processes
• Ensuring compliance with security, customs and compliance regulations
• Reporting of irregularities, complaints and operational challenges
• Responsibility for the economic optimization of your own area
• Provision of relevant customs documents
• Maintenance of MAWB stocks

Your profile

• Completed commercial training, preferably in the field of international freight forwarding logistics
• At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the field of air freight export
• Initial leadership or team leader experience is an advantage
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
• Good user knowledge of MS Office
• High level of initiative, resilience and sense of responsibility
• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as strong customer and service orientation
• Business administration knowledge is an advantage
