CDI PROTOTYPISTE F/H Positioning Within the Direction Technique of the Division Hermès Maroquinerie Sellerie, the Prototypiste is attached to the Bureau des Orfèvres. He is under the responsibility of the Responsable Pôle Maquettes Matières Métalliques. Scope Each year, the Prototypistes at the Bureau des Orfèvres manufacture more than 1200 metallic prototypes of all categories (clasps, locks, carabiners, belt buckles, bracelets etc.). The development duration of a project varies from a few hours to several weeks depending on its complexity. Job Dimensions Constant interactions and exchanges with all the teams of the Bureau des Orfèvres and occasionally in connection with the Métier teams (Collection, development) as well as with our various partners. Purpose of the position The Prototypiste ensures the end-to-end realization of functional and industrializable metallic parts for all collections and non-collection requests, while respecting the prescribed deadlines. Main activities Under the Direction of the Responsable du Pôle Maquettes Matières Métalliques, the Prototypiste's missions will be: Machining of simple and complex parts, in compliance with plans, quality requirements and prescribed deadlines. The complete, end-to-end realization of metallic prototypes (from the preparation of blanks, machining, assembly, flame welding to finishing). Participation in the design and development of complex mechanical systems (clasps, locks). Anticipating the manufacturing process with our Partners (manufacturing imperatives, industrialization feasibility). The proposal of technical and functional improvement paths. Participation in the life of the workshop: application of 5S standards, replenishment of materials and tooling, preventive maintenance actions. Profile and skills Minimum experience of 3 years carried out in an Arts environment (Orfèvre, Bronzier, Bijoutier, Horloger) having allowed the acquisition of machining skills. Mastery of conventional manufacturing tools: manual milling machine, lathe, circular saw, pillar drills, emery lapidary, tank... Mechanical assembly techniques, flame welding and laser welding. Mastery of CNC machining techniques and industrialization constraints. The ability to design mechanisms is a plus. Excellent aptitude and mastery of traditional manual techniques: cutting, drilling, polishing with tools such as files, cabron, bocfil. Polishing with a hand motor, wheel polishing, mechanical and functional fitting-assembly. Indispensable knowledge of material industrialization processes (machining, casting, stamping, bending, curving, rolling) and their technical characteristics (compositions and deformations).
