Your tasks:

As a lecturer in mathematics didactics in the Kindergarten/Primary curriculum, you will notably assume the following tasks:

• You design and lead scientific and didactic courses on mathematics learning in Cycle 1.
• You combine expertise in mathematics didactics and developmental approaches and bring this perspective into interdisciplinary courses.
• You contribute, along with colleagues from different fields, to the coherent development of teaching and the Kindergarten/Primary curriculum.
• You participate in the development, experimentation, and evaluation of teaching concepts and curriculum elements.
• Depending on your profile, you take on tasks in practical internships, continuing education and transfer, or in research and development projects.

Your profile:

• Master's in mathematics/mathematics didactics or equivalent qualification
• Doctorate desired
• Proven expertise in mathematics learning and teaching, preferably in connection with Cycle 1
• Teaching diploma and pedagogical experience in kindergarten or primary, or equivalent practical school qualification
• Experience in university didactics or the willingness to acquire this qualification
• Ability to combine disciplinary, developmental, and transversal perspectives
• Proven experience or willingness for interdisciplinary and intersectoral collaboration
• Interest in the joint development of curricula, teaching, and quality
• Thoughtful, committed working method oriented towards teamwork.
