Specialist for German-French Bilingualism In this newly created function, you will develop foundations, concepts, and concrete measures to promote bilingualism (German-French) in the public school system of the City of Bern. You will move between school, administration, politics, and external educational institutions and make an important contribution to the further development of the educational landscape of the City of Bern. The position is limited to 1.5 years with an option for extension. What you move Analysis of offers in the area of bilingualism DE/FR at the municipal and cantonal level Development of strategic foundations and concrete recommendations for action to anchor German-French bilingualism in the public school system of the City of Bern Networking of schools, educational institutions, administration, and other stakeholders as well as promotion of professional exchange Writing reports, developing decision-making bases for the department management, presentations, and project documentation What you bring University degree in pedagogy, linguistics, social sciences, or a comparable field of study as well as experience in the education sector Enthusiasm for the sustainable promotion of mono-/bilingualism in the education sector and a strong understanding of administration and politics Joy in the cooperation and networking of different stakeholders Analytical, conceptual, and innovative way of thinking and the ability to prepare complex content in an audience-appropriate manner Very good German and French skills (at least level C1) Your benefits in Bern For meaning & city life With us, you change something.
