The three admission and emergency stations and the forensics station of the Wil location treat mentally ill adult patients with disorders from the entire psychiatric diagnostic spectrum.

You are available as a patrol guard as well as to support intensive care for patients in psychiatric exceptional situations. The assignments as a patrol guard take place predominantly in the evening (18:00 to 03:00) or at night (21:00 to 07:00) in 24/7 operation. Assignments can also take place on weekends and public holidays during day shifts.

Your tasks

• After starting your shift, comprehensive information transfer regarding the patient situation takes place via a round.
• Your expertise ensures additional security in the evening, on weekends, and on public holidays. Your competence strengthens the nursing teams and enables flexible reactions to acute crisis situations in acute psychiatry and forensics.
• If necessary, you support the other stations in managing psychiatric or somatic emergency situations or in cases of extraordinary workload.
• You support the duty physician and night watch during difficult and complex admission situations.
• Important patient-related facts and events are documented by you in detail.

Your profile

• You have completed training as a nursing specialist HF/FH (SRK recognition or positive SRK PreCheck for foreign diplomas required).
• Advantageously, you already have professional experience in acute psychiatry or gerontopsychiatry.
• You have completed a basic course in aggression management or are willing to complete one.
• You possess social competencies, are resilient, bring an independent and responsible way of working, and the ability for interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Good IT skills will facilitate your administrative tasks.

Your salary

Your gross salary for a 100% workload is expected to be between 76,000.- and 110,000.- francs per year.

The contract
