In the versatile and responsible function of Head Steward (m/f/d), the following activities are part of your area of responsibility:

Overall responsibility for the operational organization and leadership of the stewarding area
Leadership, coordination, motivation, and further development of employees, including induction and training of new team members
Planning and coordination of personnel assignments as well as ensuring an efficient workflow in ongoing operations
Organization and monitoring of all processes in the back-of-house, dishwashing, and cleaning areas
Ensuring high hygiene, cleanliness, safety, and quality standards according to HACCP as well as their control and documentation
Responsibility for the professional cleaning and care of dishes, cutlery, kitchen utensils, equipment, as well as kitchen and storage premises
Responsibility for ordering, storage, and control of cleaning and consumable materials as well as their proper use
Close cooperation with kitchen, service, and other operational areas to ensure smooth processes
Active participation in daily business as well as support for the team as needed
With the following properties you will convince us:

Several years of professional experience in stewarding, in the hotel industry, or gastronomy, ideally in a leadership or coordination function
Sound knowledge of hygiene, HACCP, as well as quality and safety standards; corresponding hygiene training is an advantage
Experience in the organization and optimization of operational processes as well as in the economical handling of material and equipment
Good administrative and IT knowledge
Experience in the leadership, motivation, induction, and further development of employees
Strong organizational talent, initiative, and sense of responsibility
Structured, careful, and reliable way of working as well as high resilience and flexibility
Team-oriented, solution-oriented personality with a confident and professional appearance as well as good communication and assertiveness skills
Readiness for weekend, holiday, and shift work
Good language skills in German; French and/or English skills are an advantage
