Your tasks with us: Coffee preparation and guest service • Independent preparation of high-quality coffee specialties (espresso, cappuccino, flat white, latte macchiato, etc.) on professional portafilter machines. • Friendly service to our guests as well as receiving and processing orders. • Sale of Gipfeli, baked goods, snacks, and drinks. • Ensuring a constantly high beverage quality. Customer advice and sales • Active, friendly, and competent advice for our customers. • Identification of individual customer needs and recommendation of suitable products. • Sale of coffee machines, accessories, coffee, and gift items. • Understandable explanation of the differences and functions of various coffee machines. • Inspiring our clientele for high-quality coffee products and premium brands. Shop management • Independent management of the to-go shop during the shift. • Operation of the cash register system including bar and card payments. • Control and reordering of goods. • Goods receipt as well as professional storage according to the FIFO principle. • Ongoing monitoring of minimum shelf life dates. Merchandise presentation • Attractive presentation of all products. • Refilling of sales areas and refrigerators. • Care and careful handling of high-quality coffee machines as well as all display and sales equipment. Hygiene and quality • Compliance with all hygiene regulations according to Swiss HACCP/self-control guidelines. • Cleaning of coffee machines, work tools, and the entire sales area. • Guaranteeing cleanliness and order throughout the entire working day. Cooperation • Supporting the team as needed. • Implementation of instructions from supervisors. • Active participation in the further development of our new Coffee-&-Gipfeli concept. • Contributing own ideas for the optimization of assortment, service, and customer offerings. What you bring with you: You are an open, sympathetic personality and enjoy actively approaching people. With your sales flair and strong customer orientation, you recognize the individual needs of our customers and find the appropriate solution together with them. You are interested in high-quality coffee and are enthusiastic about quality products and brands such as JURA, La Marzocco, and ECM. A certain technical affinity helps you to explain the functions and differences of our coffee machines understandably. Previous knowledge is an advantage – more important to us is your willingness to learn and your enthusiasm for coffee. Even in hectic times, you remain friendly, calm, and organized. You work reliably, independently, and responsibly, but are at the same time a true team player. Ideally, you bring with you: • Experience as a barista. • Experience in sales or in personal customer advice. • Experience in gastronomy or the hotel industry. • Experience with high-quality technical products is an advantage, but not a requirement.
