Director of Human Resources (m/f) 100%

for our client, one of the most significant and versatile hotel and catering companies, we are looking for an HR Director 100% (m/w/d) effective immediately.

Tasks:

• Strategic & operational HR leadership: overall responsibility for the HR department, all personnel processes as well as the continuous optimization and digitalization of workflows.
• Employee Lifecycle: responsibility for personnel planning, recruiting, support, development as well as the exit process.
• Payroll & budgeting: independent monthly payroll processing including mutations, interface to financial accounting as well as creation of the personnel budget and the monthly forecasts.
• Consulting & Law: advising the management and executives on all HR and labor law issues; ensuring compliance with Swiss labor law, social security law and the L-GAV.
• Administration & Compliance: monitoring of duty rosters for L-GAV compliance, coordination of annual vacation planning, settlement of withholding tax as well as verification of work and residence permits (incl. third countries).
• Regulations & Network: maintenance and further development of personnel regulations, job descriptions and guidelines; building and maintaining networks with authorities, schools, recruitment agencies and insurance companies (e.g. GastroSocial).

Qualifications

• Professional experience: several years of experience in a comparable HR management function, preferably from the Swiss hotel or catering industry.
• Specialist knowledge: sound knowledge of Swiss labor and social security law as well as in-depth knowledge regarding the L-GAV.
• Practical knowledge: proven practice in independent payroll processing, permit clarification (also third countries) and withholding tax.
• Systems & qualification: experience with industry software. Further training as an HR specialist with a federal diploma (eidg. Fachausweis) is an advantage; training as a federal vocational trainer (eidg. Berufsbildner/in).
• Languages: very good German and English skills in spoken and written form.
• Personality: strong assertiveness paired with tact, a structured and exact way of working as well as a natural, credible appearance.
