Who you are As a Team Leader for the Checkout area, you and your team are responsible for ensuring a comfortable check-out and payment process for our customers. This includes a fast, simple, and customer-friendly check-out, a cost-effective payment process, and a reliable and efficient processing of payments. Your team will be one of the last IKEA contact points for many customers and is therefore crucial for an unforgettable shopping experience. • You are an inspiring leader with strong social and communication skills, who can approach others openly and proactively. • You have several years of professional experience in customer service and have already successfully led a team, as well as having worked in a similar position is an advantage. • You are numerate, cost-conscious, and possess excellent negotiation skills. • You are solution-oriented and known for solving problems successfully and pleasantly. • You work independently and can implement solutions quickly and effectively. • Your attention to detail, accuracy, and structured way of working allow you to maintain an overview of multiple tasks and responsibilities. • You speak both fluent German and English.
