The Childhood and Transition sector of the Fondation de Vernand accompanies the development of nearly 200 students presenting an autism spectrum disorder and/or intellectual development disorder.

To contribute to our inclusive goals and guarantee the well-being, the development of potential, and the autonomy of the students, we are looking for the following for our special education classes located in Cossonay, Nyon and in the Lausanne region:

Educator Interns for our special education classes (M/F/X) - 6 months at 100%

• A meaningful activity in a school environment, contributing to the development of children presenting an intellectual deficiency and aiming to make them as autonomous as possible in their daily and future lives.

• The possibility to complete 800 hours of internship as part of admission to higher education institutions in the social sector.
• Internship supervision ensured by a professional in the field.
• An excellent working atmosphere within a multidisciplinary team.
• A paid internship.

We ask of you:

• To be of legal age and to have completed compulsory schooling.
• To demonstrate a strong interest in special education and in working with children presenting an intellectual deficiency.
• To have the skills to propose creative activities and to lead educational and playful workshops.

End date: 9 July 2027
Location to be agreed: Nyon, Cossonay or Lausanne region
