On behalf of a Swiss SME of human size, we are looking for an Accounting & HR Specialist to join a team in the Bienne region.

Experienced Accountant & HR - German mandatory - Bienne

Beyond an operational role in accounting and HR, this position offers a real perspective for medium-term evolution, with the opportunity to progressively take on broader financial responsibilities and, ultimately, to succeed the current financial manager.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting: accounts receivable, accounts payable, entries, payments and reconciliations.
• Participate in closings, VAT declarations and reportings.
• Take charge of or support the payroll process and HR administration: salaries, social insurances, allowances, absences and withholding tax.
• Collaborate closely with the financial manager and the CFO on analyses, projects and process improvements.
• Progressively increase skills in the various aspects of the structure's financial management.

Your profile:

• Higher education in finance/accounting, ideally Federal Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar function with good autonomy in accounting and payroll management.
• Fluent French and German mandatory
• Autonomous, versatile, analytical and solution-oriented profile.
• Desires to progressively take on more responsibilities and to commit to a long-term perspective.

The opportunity:
A particularly interesting position for an accountant/HR professional wishing to take a step up in their career: an operational role at the start, with a progressive increase in responsibilities and the possibility of taking over the financial manager function by the end of 2027.

The initial rate can be 60-70%, with the possibility to evolve towards a higher rate depending on the scope taken over, particularly regarding the HR part.
