EVEN has set itself the goal of rethinking gastronomy and promoting a sustainable approach to nutrition and health. As the umbrella organization for Roots, Roots Kitchen, Collective Bakery and other concepts, EVEN combines gastronomy, innovation and sustainability into future-oriented projects. We develop holistic hospitality concepts, accompany their implementation and operate our own establishments – with the aim of actively helping to shape a healthy and environmentally conscious lifestyle. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a female cook or male cook (80-100%) in Roots Kitchen as of 1.October 2026 (or by arrangement). Your tasks • Preparation of vegan dishes for the lunch business and buffet • Independent planning and execution of mise en place work • Set up of lunch buffet and service of lunch menu • Preparation and execution of catering orders • Support of the production team as required • Advising guests • Promotion of a respectful, supportive kitchen environment with open communication • Strict compliance with our quality requirements & hygiene regulations (HACCP) • Control and cleaning of kitchen furniture / equipment Your qualifications • A completed apprenticeship as a cook (EFZ), equivalent qualification or several years of work experience in the kitchen • Enthusiasm for plant-based cuisine and sustainable gastronomy • Joy in guest contact • Good German or English skills (at least B2 level) • Flexibility and resilience, even during high workloads • Multitasking talent with the ability to work independently What we offer • A young, modern and dynamic team • A workplace in a creative environment with plenty of daylight • Employment conditions according to L-GAV • Working days are oriented towards office hours (Monday - Friday) • Day shifts without room hour including 45 Min. lunch break (exception caterings and events) • 5 weeks vacation, 6 public holidays (including company holidays between Christmas and New Year as well as on the cantonal holidays of Zürich) • Free, healthy lunch in the Roots Kitchen • Membership / courses in our partner gyms Balboa and Indigo Tell us why you want to become part of our team!
