You check travel documents carefully, fairly, and professionally; in doing so, you ensure that the applicable regulations are applied transparently and consistently. You convey confidence to our passengers through your presence by being available to them as a competent contact person at all times. You advise our passengers competently, solution-oriented, and friendly, and support them reliably with questions and concerns. You maintain calm even in challenging situations and act confidently. You represent SOB for our passengers in direct customer contact. Through your appearance and your service orientation, you significantly shape the travel experience. Thanks to your specialist knowledge, you also find the right answer to questions regarding connections, routes, or excursion destinations. As part of our team, you contribute daily to ensuring the high service quality of SOB. What you bring with you You have completed training as a Customer Companion in public transport. You have a strong service orientation as well as enjoyment in dealing with people. You approach different people openly, listen attentively, and find suitable solutions even in demanding or hectic situations. You have high teamwork skills, initiative, and a sense of responsibility. You actively contribute to the team and maintain an overview even under time pressure. You have quick comprehension and sound judgment. You recognize situations, communicate clearly, and accompany our customers professionally and confidently even in challenging moments. You have very good German skills in spoken and written form, as well as Italian and/or English skills at level A2, or the willingness to learn these. What we offer SOB maintains a function-related salary system that ensures internal pay equity and wage fairness. With an employment degree of at least 40%, you travel for free in public transport in 2nd class. Your relatives benefit from discounts when purchasing a GA. Not only that: after the first year of employment, we offer an attractive offer in Europe with discounts abroad through the FIP (international discount card for railway personnel). At SOB, you work 41 hours per week with a 100% workload. You receive at least five weeks of vacation per year. With the bandwidth model, you can take additional days off. Do you want more than five weeks of vacation? We offer the possibility of the bandwidth model. For 2% of your annual salary, you receive five additional days off credited; for 4%, ten additional days off. The same applies in reverse: you can waive days off and receive more salary in return.
