In our bakery, the day begins long before our branches open. As Deputy Manager Bakery Night, you support our night shift operations and take responsibility for the team, production and quality. Together with the Department Manager, you ensure that our breads and small pastries are available reliably, on time and in best quality for our branches and customers. In doing so, you contribute your manual skills as well as your joy in leadership, organization and new ideas.

Your tasks

• You take over the functional and personnel leadership of around 15 employees in the night shift in the bread & rolls area
• You bear the overall responsibility for the organization and coordination of the night shift operation
• You ensure a smooth, efficient and punctual production process
• You plan and control the daily production quantities and ensure that our branches and customers are reliably supplied with fresh baked goods
• You continuously optimize the production processes and create efficient and sustainable workflows together with your team
• You ensure compliance with our quality standards, recipes and HACCP guidelines
• You bear responsibility for the correct completion, provision and distribution of the products within the company
• You recognize optimization potential and implement improvements in production in a targeted manner
• You work closely with adjacent production areas as well as other departments and actively participate in cross-departmental projects
• You promote, accompany and develop your employees and ensure good cooperation within the team
• You roll up your sleeves yourself and lead by example as a leadership personality

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a Bäcker/in-Konditor/in EFZ and several years of professional experience in bakery production
• Several years of leadership experience, ideally in a production company
• Good German skills and confident communication in everyday work
• You enjoy taking responsibility and make the right decisions even in demanding situations
• You have a pronounced awareness of quality and hygiene and work in a structured and solution-oriented manner
• You enjoy leading, motivating and developing employees
• You think entrepreneurially and have a good understanding of efficient production processes
• You are open to new ideas and actively drive improvements
• You enjoy working at night and are ready to take responsibility from approx. Uhr
• You keep an overview even in hectic situations and ensure that our production runs reliably
