You ensure cost assurance for our inpatient patients and ensure smooth administrative processing. In doing so, you work closely with insurance companies, authorities, and internal departments. Your main tasks

• You ensure the complete and correct cost guarantee for our inpatient patients with Swiss insurance
• You request, monitor, and remind cost approvals and coordinate their extensions as well as reconsideration requests with insurance companies and cantons
• You check and process error lists and ensure that missing information is supplemented promptly and that the cost guarantees are complete
• You clarify patient data directly with insurance companies, residents' registration offices, and cantonal authorities
• You maintain a professional and solution-oriented exchange with patients and their relatives as well as with insurance companies, authorities, and employers - by telephone and in writing
• Through your careful and reliable way of working, you contribute to ensuring that the administrative and financial prerequisites for the inpatient treatment of our patients are met

Your profile

• You have a commercial basic training and bring several years of professional experience in the health and/or social insurance sector
• You are familiar with the processes of inpatient cost assurance and ideally have sound knowledge of the relevant legal foundations, especially KVG, UVG, and VVG as well as the DRG system
• Medical terminology is familiar to you or you are motivated to acquire the corresponding knowledge
• You work independently, structured, and carefully and maintain an overview even in complex cases and with a high workload
• You communicate confidently and appropriately for the target group - both in writing and orally - and appear competent and binding towards patients, relatives, insurance companies, and authorities
• You have very good IT user knowledge in MS Office and SAP
• You are an open, resilient, and team-oriented personality who likes to take on responsibility and actively contributes to a committed environment
