Das Chalet Süd is hiring: Gastro Operations Management, 100% Start: 1.9.2026 or by agreement in Rapperswil-Jona Our unique chalet, built from old wood and furnished with a great sense of atmosphere, has been delighting its guests as the «Chalet zum Fondue» for years. With 160 seats in the interior, it offers plenty of space for unforgettable moments. Now, the chalet is transforming into a fixed year-round project in Rapperswil-Jona. Depending on the season, our guests can expect a different offer: • Winter (October – March): Winter offer with Fondue & Raclette • Summer (April – September): Terrace with beer garden and events like Oktoberfest Additionally, the chalet can also be rented for private and business events. The project is initially limited to 3 years, with an option for extension. Your tasks • Overall responsibility for the smooth operation and management of the entire team (service, kitchen, back office, permanent employees and temporary staff) • Reservation management and guest correspondence • Creation of duty schedules and hour control • Quality assurance and compliance with hygiene and safety standards • Active participation and leadership in the service with a focus on personal guest care, incl. à la carte lunch and dinner service • Coordination between service and kitchen for an optimal guest experience Your profile • You have in-depth knowledge of the gastronomy industry and preferably hold a degree as a restaurateur or are a student/graduate of a Swiss hotel management school • You have experience in personnel management and excellent communication skills • You are a team player and have a positive attitude • You are used to flexible working hours and have a passion for the gastronomy industry • You have very good German and English language skills We offer • Great opportunities for co-design and realization of your own ideas • A collegial and pleasant working atmosphere with short communication channels • Regulated working hours within the framework of the gastronomy industry • 30% discount on consumption at Chalet Süd • Contemporary compensation We look forward to your application, including a letter of motivation and an up-to-date CV, which you can send to Cristina Fuchs, cristina@krama-concepts.ch
