You will join an in-hospital care unit of the Crisis Intervention Beds (LIC) of the Liaison and Crisis Intervention Psychiatry Service. The mission of this unit is the crisis hospital management of patients presenting suicidal ideas or behaviors. The LICs offer brief, specialized, and evidence-based intervention (mentalization-based therapies, good clinical practices for borderline personality disorder). As a chief physician, you will actively participate in the psychiatric and psychotherapeutic follow-up of hospitalized patients, while ensuring the coordination of their care with network partners. You play a key role in supporting resident doctors, managing patient flows, and interprofessional dynamics, notably through the performance of medico-nursing interviews. Furthermore, you benefit from regular clinical support thanks to supervision provided by an assistant physician. You hold a federal medical degree or possess training deemed equivalent by the Commission des professions médicales of the Office fédéral de la santé publique (MEBEKO). If you hold a specialist title, you possess the cantonal right of practice or are able to obtain it before starting your duties. For non-French speaking persons, a C1 level of French in spoken and written tests is required. The FMH title in psychiatry and psychotherapy and/or experience in the field of psychiatry, and particularly in emergency and crisis psychiatry, are assets. The Service de psychiatrie de liaison et d'intervention de crise manages the evaluation, orientation, and interdisciplinary treatment follow-up of psychiatric disorders in patients who are hospitalized or followed within the framework of outpatient consultations at the various HUG sites. The service also has the mandate to welcome, care for, and orient patients approaching the HUG emergency services.
