Your opportunity

The Shared Service Center MBA pays the invoices of the entire office, the vocational and maturity schools as well as the vocational, study and career guidance. Following an internal reorganization, the team of four to five employees is in motion. You bring structure, commitment and trust to this team and make it a reliable service provider. You lead technically and personally, further develop processes and have the support of management for clear decisions.

Your tasks

• You lead the FRW 2 team technically and personally. This includes deployment planning, target agreements, employee appraisals and competence development. You ensure that roles, responsibilities and processes are lived bindingly.
• You share responsibility for the operation of the SSC MBA, i.e. for the timely and correct payment of supplier invoices (accounts payable) as well as for credit management, fixed assets and the qualification procedure (QV). You solve complex problematic cases yourself.
• You ensure quality, IKS compliance and adherence to legal requirements and recommendations of the financial control and implement them.
• You support and train employees with decentralized financial tasks in the office and in the schools.
• You further develop processes and instruments, promote digitalization, reporting and monitoring and expand the polyvalence in the team.
• You lead projects in your area of responsibility.
• You work in the MBA F&C management team as well as in specialist groups and coordinate technically with the SSC AZD.

Your profile

• Basic vocational training EFZ with further training at certificate level (e.g. accounting clerk) or federal diploma, HF or comparable (e.g. specialist in finance and accounting)
• Several years of experience in a comparable function and sound specialist knowledge in financial accounting including financial statement preparation
• Proven leadership experience in a team
• Experience with change processes and aligning a team towards common goals
• Very good SAP and Excel knowledge
• French B1/B2

The Mittelschul- und Berufsbildungsamt of the Bildungs- und Kulturdirektion is the central service center for the benefit of all training partners at the secondary level II, in higher vocational training, in further education and in vocational, study and career guidance. It promotes the development of offerings and quality within the framework of legislation and is responsible for the management and monitoring of financial resources and quality indicators at the secondary level II schools.

The cross-sectional service Finance and Controlling (F&C) answers technical, administrative and advanced questions regarding finance and accounting. In addition to processing invoices from and to the MBA, it is responsible for the annual financial statements as well as the financial planning of the office and takes care of reporting on finance and statistical topics around the office.
