HR Specialist 80–100% - Maternity Cover

Daily tasks include, among others:

• Assistance with the entire personnel administration from entries through mutations to departures for over 400 employees
• Contact person for line managers and employees in all HR process-related matters
• Maintenance of the time tracking system and co-responsibility for the same
• Independent writing of interim and employment references in German and English using a reference tool
• Assistance in the training of apprentices in the HR department
• Processing of events (births, weddings, service anniversaries, etc.)
• Contact with social insurance institutions and external bodies, e.g., in the case of accidents, maternity, paternity or unpaid leave
• Maintenance of statistics and creation of reports
• Participation in local and global projects
• Ensuring that all processes including documentation are in accordance with internal (SOX) and external regulations, e.g., requirements of social insurance authorities
• Ensuring a continuous improvement process
• Depending on existing know-how, participation in monthly payroll processing is possible

What you bring with you:

• Completed HR training or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in personnel administration
• Payroll expertise is an advantage, but not a must
• Sound knowledge of labor law
• Good user knowledge in the MS Office suite, especially in Excel
• Prioritization, self-organization, networked thinking
• Precise, timely and efficient working even under pressure
• Independent, structured and conscientious way of working
• Communication strength, discretion and team spirit
• Very good German and English skills
