Field Service Engineer

Your missions ###

• Maintenance of our EDM machines (electrical discharge machining)
• Analysis of problems reported by customers before intervention, in collaboration with technical support (hotline)
• Research of solutions to problems after intervention
• Customer training and on-site instruction
• Identification of machine improvement opportunities in collaboration with development, second-level support and management, as well as management and documentation of service cases
• Strict compliance with safety standards related to EDM machines

Your profile ###

• Technical training: electronics or polymechanics
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams of the machines
• Initial experience as a service technician in the EDM field is an advantage
• English: B2, German or French: fluent
• Excellent command of MS Office
• Good knowledge of PC hardware and software (Windows XP, 7 and 10)
• Solid technical background in EDM
• Ability to diagnose and resolve machine problems autonomously
• Reliability, sense of responsibility, team spirit
• Autonomous, structured, solution-oriented and results-oriented work
• High availability to travel in Switzerland
• Strong customer orientation
