For our Supply Chain, Purchasing and Logistics department, we are looking for a Supply Chain Assistant to support daily supply chain and logistics operations, from purchase orders to shipping, delivery and receipt.

As Nextkidney prepares for the next stages of development and commercialization of its products, you will play a key role in ensuring that equipment and materials reach clinics and other partners in time for upcoming clinical activities.

The ideal candidate is practical, well-organized and comfortable coordinating orders, shipments and operational documentation in an international environment. You will work closely with our Global Purchasing & Supply Chain Specialist and will progressively take over supply chain operational activities.

Given that this is an operational role supporting our local team and logistics activities, regular on-site presence in Lausanne is required. The position is offered at 60-80%, typically corresponding to 3-4 working days per week.

SUPPLY CHAIN ASSISTANT AT 60-80 %

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including shipments, transport documentation and delivery tracking.
• Coordinate shipments of equipment and materials to clinics and other partners in Switzerland and internationally.
• Create and manage purchase orders in SAGE X3 (ERP) and ensure tracking of confirmations, delivery dates, quantities, receipts and open orders.
• Maintain accurate information on purchase orders, shipments and deliveries in SAGE X3 and operational tracking tools.
• Support goods receipt, inventory administration, stock movements and reconciliation activities.
• Prepare and maintain operational and traceability documentation related to orders, shipments and deliveries.
• Monitor orders and shipments, identify potential delays or discrepancies and escalate issues where appropriate.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization of supply chain and logistics processes.

Profile

• Commercial, technical or professional qualification. Additional training in supply chain, logistics or purchasing is a plus.
• Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, purchasing or industrial operations.
• Practical experience using an ERP system for purchase orders, inventory or logistics transactions required. Experience with SAGE X3 is a plus.
• French and English at minimum B2 level required.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• Practical, reliable and proactive, with good communication and follow-up skills.
• Experience in the MedTech, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing sector or another regulated environment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong willingness to learn.
• Regular on-site presence in Lausanne required.
