Vocational training is our core competence The Berufsbildungszentrum Biel is a bilingual cantonal vocational school with four departments and around 2-000 apprentices. We are present at three locations in Biel, offer bridge offers, basic vocational training as well as vocational baccalaureate and, with the Technische Fachschule, we have a teaching workshop in which we train young professionals. The basic vocational training department includes around 1-400 apprentices in 20 different professions

Tasks ###

You teach and accompany various classes of young vocational apprentices in Mediamatik in the 1st year of training in module 264 (preparing digital media productions), presumably 12 lessons/week in the spring semester. The training takes place modularly and the module is completed at the end of the school year. Timetable: The lessons are distributed on Monday and Tuesday.

Requirements ###

Practical experience and training in the field of multimedia, especially in the design of digital and print documents Completion as a vocational school teacher or willingness to complete such training Ideally existing teaching experience at a vocational school Knowledge of collaborative programs from Office 365 (SharePoint, Teams, etc.) Enjoyment of dealing with young adults Motivating personality with high social and communication competence
