Senior Physician General Internal Medicine

Having fun with medicine is our goal! In Internal Medicine at the Kantonsspital, we are a management team consisting of a Chief Physician, a Lead Physician, two senior physicians (m/f) and four senior physicians, who together train 35 resident doctors. The patients are at the center; we treat 5,000 inpatient and 50,000 outpatient patients in the Medical Clinic. Under one roof, you will work closely with specialists from various departments.
To complement our team, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a
Senior Physician (m/f) General Internal Medicine
You will take over
Management medical care of inpatient patients, as well as the supervision of resident doctors in your area of responsibility. In doing so, you are part of a team and will be supported by experienced management physicians.
Participation in the management medical service system of the Medical Clinic. In regular operations, you have no weekend services (exception: holiday blocks).
Engagement in initial, advanced, and continuing education; at the same time, you also benefit from a strong internal teaching culture.
You bring with you
Completed or far advanced specialist training in General Internal Medicine. If the specialist title is still missing, employment as a Deputy Senior Physician is also possible. If additional functions are assumed and corresponding experience is provided, employment as a Senior Physician (m/f) is possible.
Joy in ward work and in teaching doctors in training.
Excellent German skills.
Team-oriented, flexible personality.
