At the Direktion für Bildung, Soziales und Sport, the person is at the center. The Tagesbetreuung (https://www.bern.ch/politik-und-verwaltung/stadtverwaltung/bss/schulamt) is a voluntary family-supplementary childcare service for school children in the city of Bern.

What you move

• You are part of the kitchen team and cook for kindergarten and school children
• You are deployed in different branches: Laubeg, Murifeld and Sonnenhof
• You support the kitchen management in menu planning, menu calculation and procurement of goods
• In the training of apprentices, you are the second contact person
• You help to constantly improve the implementation of legal hygiene standards

What you bring

• Training as a cook with an eidgenössisches Fähigkeitszeugnis
• Professional experience and knowledge in child-friendly nutrition are desirable
• Joy in contact with children and young people
• Good written and oral German skills (B2)
