Job description
On behalf of our partner, an EMS in Bienne, we are looking for a qualified aide in care and support (ASA) for a permanent position in CDI, at an activity rate of 80 to 100%, to be filled from 1st October.
Within this human-sized establishment accommodating 28 residents, you will play an essential role in the daily support of elderly people, some of whom present psychogeriatric disorders. In close collaboration with the nursing team and other professionals in the institution, you will contribute to ensuring a secure, respectful living environment adapted to the specific needs of each resident.
In strict respect of your field of competence, your missions will cover close support, basic care, and active participation in the smooth running of the residents' day. You will intervene notably in activities of daily living in order to preserve their autonomy, comfort, and dignity to the maximum.

Profile sought
The ASA diploma recognized in Switzerland is mandatory for this position. A first experience in EMS, in geriatrics, or with elderly people is an asset.
You are a benevolent, reliable, patient, and listening person, with a real interest in supporting elderly people. You master basic care, comfort care, and support in activities of daily living, in respect of your skills and protocols.
You know how to observe, transmit important information to the nursing team, and work in collaboration with different professionals. Your sense of responsibility, your discretion, your capacity for adaptation, and your team spirit will be essential for this position.
We are primarily looking for a person wishing to invest themselves durably with the residents and within a human-sized team.
