Deputy Head of Department Social Counseling ##

The Zentrum für Soziales is one of the largest associations of its kind in Switzerland. On behalf of 28 municipalities with a catchment area of over 100'000 people, we work with great commitment, at a low threshold and networked in the following areas: Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB), professional guardianship, social counseling, mother and father counseling, addiction counseling and school social work. The Social and Addiction Counseling department operates polyvalently and offers a wide range of counseling services. These include personal and economic social assistance, youth and educational counseling, budget and debt counseling, assessments for municipalities and in the area of child protection for the KESB as well as addiction counseling. The department also includes school social work in eleven municipalities.

Your tasks ###

Overall operational responsibility

• Co-responsibility for cross-location cooperation and the integration of the department in the Zentrum für Soziales
• Co-decision in operational matters
• Active participation in business development and quality management, as well as relationship management and professional exchange with the association municipalities of the Hochdorf region

Personnel responsibility

• Personnel leadership of the Social Counseling team at the Hochdorf location
• Participation in personnel and team development
• Conducting probationary, employee and closing interviews

Professional responsibility

• Professional and operational responsibility for the Social Counseling (SB) team at the Hochdorf location
• Professional coaching of employees
• Case management in polyvalent social counseling
• Responsibility for high quality, professional standards and efficiency of social counseling as well as addiction counseling according to Quatheda specifications
• Participation in project and concept work

What you bring with you ###

• Completed degree in Social Work (FH)
• Several years of professional experience in one or more professional fields of social work
• Leadership training (or the willingness to complete it)
• High reliability and resilience
• Conflict management skills and assertiveness
• Knowledge in controlling, quality management and business development
• Integrative, mature and loyal personality
