Client Project Manager Bern, Switzerland \| 80\-100% The contribution you can make The role involves the overall responsibility, defined by the client, for complex construction projects, ranging from the selection procedure to design and implementation, up to delivery to our clients Define project objectives and risks as well as the strategic bases (planning, implementation models, procedural phases); manage interdisciplinary project organizations Forecast, request, and administer human and financial resources as well as manage project-related credits in accordance with the Federal Act on the Financial Management of the Confederation (LFC) Ensure effective collaboration with users, managers, designers, contractors, and technical consultants in the interest of the Confederation as the client Carry out award procedures in accordance with LAPub/OAPub as well as ensure effective quality management and project controlling What distinguishes you Tertiary-level training as an architect, civil engineer, or equivalent training in the construction sector Many years of experience in the general management of complex construction projects and solid experience in client representation Proven skills in integrated project management (quality, costs, deadlines) and knowledge in the public procurement sector (LAPub/OAPub) Excellent leadership qualities, ability to think strategically and according to business-economic principles Excellent interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills Active knowledge of a second official language In summary As a representative of the clients at UFCL, the construction body of the Confederation, this function entails the general responsibility for complex construction projects throughout Switzerland. This key role is characterized by the management of interdisciplinary project organizations, the control of complex processes within clearly defined objectives, and the guarantee of compliance with quality, costs, and deadlines in the public interest. This is an activity of great responsibility and strategic relevance, with a direct impact on the construction development of the Confederation.
