Research Scientist for Operational Technology Cybersecurity

You research and develop security architectures for industrial software products in the field of Operational Technology and transfer scientific findings into practical solutions.

Tasks

• Lead or co-design research projects that transfer scientific results into software solutions
• Develop prototypes of innovative concepts with concrete business benefit
• Evaluate new technologies and assess their influence on product roadmaps
• Document results in scientific publications, patents, and technical reports
• Build a network within the company and actively pass on expertise

Profile

• Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Practical experience in software development and system design
• Sound knowledge in OT security, computer security, distributed systems, embedded systems, secure communication, or applied cryptography
• Programming skills in C/C++, Python, or Rust
• Proven publication activity at renowned scientific conferences
• Ability to drive ideas from concept to a working prototype
• Strong communication skills and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams
