Nutritionist

The nutritional counseling of Claraspital supports patients of the Tumor and Abdominal Center during their inpatient stay and, if necessary, also accompanies them in an outpatient setting after discharge. We are also specialized in the care of patients before and after bariatric surgery. ### Your tasks • Outpatient preliminary assessment and follow-up care of bariatric patients in the interdisciplinary team • Care and counseling of outpatient patients with a focus on oncology, visceral surgery, obesity, diabetes, and bariatrics • Conducting internal and public lectures as well as further training • Participation in and implementation of projects Your profile • Completed vocational training BSc Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent) • Enthusiasm for obesity, diabetes, bariatrics, and clinical nutrition with focuses on visceral surgery and oncology, experience is an advantage • Social competence with strong team and communication skills • Flexibility, resilience, commitment, as well as an independent and responsible way of working • Foreign language skills (especially French, English, and Italian are an advantage) Benefits • 28-33 paid vacation days per year depending on age • Extensive opportunities for further and continuing education, e.g., own seminar program with a wide range of educational offerings • Occupational health management with preventive measures such as ergonomic advice at the workplace • Part-time work as well as the possibility of job sharing even in leadership functions • Bright, friendly rooms with modern infrastructure • Pronounced value stance and actively lived corporate culture • Shaping and co-designing of Claraspital by the employees About Claraspital Claraspital, the largest Basel private hospital, is a university teaching and research hospital with a full mandate for highly specialized abdominal surgery and supraregional influence of its "Abdominal" and "Tumor" centers as well as its specialist fields.
