Senior Power Electronics Engineer for Traction Projects

As a Senior Power Electronics Engineer, you will develop traction converters and energy storage systems for rail vehicles and be responsible for their technical integration in customer projects.

Tasks

• Development of traction converters and energy storage systems for rail vehicles
• Ensuring the integration of the systems into the vehicle according to customer requirements and standards
• Leading the specification, execution, evaluation, and documentation of type and qualification tests
• Taking technical responsibility for assigned project work packages
• Technical guidance of colleagues in core competencies, components, or tools
• Planning, coordination, and stakeholder communication to ensure quality, deadlines, and deliverables
• Participation in the standardization and continuous improvement of traction product families

Profile

• Completed studies as an electrical engineer
• More than 5 years of professional experience in power electronics for customer projects
• Experience with traction converters and energy storage systems is an advantage
• Ability to independently manage technical tasks and priorities
• Fluent communication in English, both written and spoken
• German language skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel for project assignments
