The Paul Scherrer Institut PSI is the largest research institute for natural sciences and engineering in Switzerland. For the Transport Service/Warehouse/Disposal group of the Operating Services section, we are looking for a
Transport Service Employee (Index No. 9222-30091)

Your tasks:

• Creating service and repair diagnoses for the PSI vehicle fleet as well as coordination of the corresponding work
• Carrying out internal and external goods and item transports as well as organization and commissioning of external transport service providers if required
• Carrying out transports with forklifts, delivery vans, as well as with trailers
• Pick-up and transfer of guests
• Providing, transporting, and professional packaging of various goods
• Participation in internal and external inbounds and outbounds
• Carrying out tasks in the area of disposal
• Cross-group support within the Operating Services section during peak workloads and special assignments
• Support for the management of the bicycle rental system (VVS)

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training in a technical or manual direction
• Professional experience in the automotive or agricultural machinery industry is an advantage
• Several years of practical experience in a comparable field of activity
• Good German skills in speaking and writing
• Good application skills in MS Office
• Forklift licenses Kat. R1, R2, R4 according to SUVA specifications
• Tail lift license Kat. 1a/1b 3a/3b according to SUVA specifications
• Driver's license Kat. B/BE
