We, the Hotel Urs und Viktor in Bettlach, are looking for a committed and motivated cook to complement our kitchen team. Our hotel features 72 high-quality furnished rooms (Economy, Komfort, Business and Junior Suites) and also offers 4 bright seminar rooms for up to 150 people, ideal for conferences, workshops, training sessions or a meeting. Our diverse restaurant facilities, including a light-filled conservatory, a rustic dining room and the traditional St. Ursenstübli, invite you to linger. For banquets and events, 4 multifunctional halls are available for up to 150 people. Your tasks • Ensuring the preparation and distribution of high-quality meals • Maintaining the high standard in quality and taste of our dishes • Responsibility for a perfect mise en place • Compliance with the highest hygiene standards and daily cleaning work • Efficient use and storage of food • Assistance in the creative co-design and development of new dishes • Active cooperation and support of the entire kitchen team in all arising tasks • Efficient management of the "Zimmerstunde" (break regulation) Your profile • Completed training as a cook (EFZ or EBA) • Several years of professional experience ideally in the hotel industry • You work carefully and have a strong sense of quality • You maintain an overview even in hectic situations and are resilient • You enjoy working in a team and are communicative • You are ready for flexible working hours ("Zimmerstunde", weekends, public holidays) • You have good German skills (oral and written) We offer • Professional induction and support • An exciting and educational working environment with national and international guests • Fair remuneration according to L-GAV • A motivated team and pleasant working atmosphere • A fitness subscription for the Kakadu Freizeitsportanlage AG • Free parking
