In doing so, you will work closely with infrastructure, production, and engineering teams and make a significant contribution to the secure operation of our global systems. IT Security Infrastructure Engineer | 80 - 100% Ref-Nr. 8007 Work location: Burgdorf | Hybrid Your main tasks Responsibility for security incident handling including analysis, coordination, and follow-up Technical contact person for the CISO as well as the infrastructure and production teams (Network, Compute & Storage, Digital Workplace, Industrialization & Manufacturing) for security-relevant issues Central coordination of the external Security Operations Center (SOC) Construction, operation, and further development of central security systems such as log servers, vulnerability scanners, and automated penetration testing tools Identification and remediation of vulnerabilities in the existing infrastructure Co-design and implementation of new security solutions and security policies in close cooperation with the engineering teams Creation of technical concepts and decision-making bases for management Participation in the construction of OT/Industrial security environments Your profile Completed studies (FH/Uni) in computer science or IT security or a comparable higher IT education At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of security infrastructure, ideally with experience in incident response Very good knowledge of Linux server environments as well as security infrastructures (e.g., log management, authentication systems) Knowledge in the field of OT/Industrial security Strong hands-on mentality: You develop security solutions not only conceptually, but build and operate them yourself (e.g., central log servers or vulnerability scanners) Very good German skills (C1) as well as good English skills (B2) Why Ypsomed – making the treatment of chronic diseases possible The worldwide more than 2200 employees of the Ypsomed Group develop and produce injection and infusion systems for self-medication.
