Sonceboz SA is a Swiss technological and industrial group (1300 employees), a global leader in the mechatronic drive systems sector. Partnering with a demanding international clientele in the Automotive, Trucks, and Medical sectors, innovation and the development of new technological solutions are strong development levers for Sonceboz.

Within a human-sized group, our applications are designed, developed, industrialized, and produced in-house. This integrated industrial scheme enables the design and production of actuators and electric motors at our two Swiss sites (Boncourt and Sonceboz).

In order to support the development of our projects and strengthen our risk management processes, we are looking for our future:

Your mission ###

Risk management and project securing

• Identify and anticipate technical, industrial, and quality risks likely to impact project success.
• Lead risk management processes by bringing together the various project stakeholders.
• Challenge technical choices and action plans in order to guarantee robust and pragmatic solutions.
• Provide governance bodies with a clear and objective vision of the project maturity level to facilitate arbitration and decision-making.
• Actively contribute to project, design, and validation reviews.

Transversal leadership and decision-making

• Provide an independent vision on the maturity level and risk management of projects.
• Build commitment to action plans based on technical analysis and understanding of business issues.
• Challenge project teams to guarantee the robustness of decisions made.
• Present residual risks and their potential impacts in a factual manner.
• Be capable of holding positions that are sometimes divergent from immediate scheduling issues when risk management or development maturity justifies it.

Product development excellence

• Ensure the integration of quality standards and customer requirements into development activities.
• Manage key quality milestones necessary for moving through different project phases.
• Ensure that evidence of conformity and expected deliverables are available at the correct maturity level.
• Support the preparation of product and process validations as well as homologation files.
• Secure the transfer to series production.

Your skills ###

• You possess a solid culture of product development and the management of complex industrial projects.
• Your solid understanding of product development, industrialization, and validation issues gives you the necessary technical credibility to challenge project teams, argue your positions, and carry recommendations recognized by business experts.
• You are recognized for your assertiveness, your ability to argue on factual bases, and your aptitude to take a position when project stakes demand it.
• Pragmatic and results-oriented, you use quality tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, IATF 16949) as decision-making and risk management levers rather than as an end in themselves.
• Professional English is indispensable.

Your background ###

• Engineer by training, you have at least 8 years of experience in industrial product development, project management, industrialization, or development quality.
• Experience in the automotive industry is sought.
