Airfreight Specialist Aerospace (100%)

Your tasks

• Independent processing of aerospace air freight shipments in export (AOG, aircraft parts, engines and time-critical shipments)
• Organization of pick-ups, airline bookings as well as export customs clearance
• Monitoring of shipments from the order placement to the delivery
• Creation and control of transport documents as well as correct invoicing
• Proactive communication with customers, airlines, agents, customs authorities and DHL stations worldwide
• Ensuring compliance with air freight security, export control and compliance regulations
• Active escalation management in the event of irregularities and critical transports

Your profile

• Completed commercial training in freight forwarding or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in air freight export, ideally in the aerospace environment
• Good knowledge of customs and export regulations as well as MS Office
• High customer orientation, resilience and independent way of working
• Very good German and English skills
• Knowledge of air freight security (BAZL) and Dangerous Goods is an advantage
