Your tasks

• Leading substance preservation and new construction projects in the area of the numerous structures in the Oberingenieurkreis IV, from the first idea/condition assessment to commissioning/completion of construction
• Leading the planning teams in all SIA phases and representing the Canton as the senior construction management
• Technical leadership and support of the ongoing BIM pilot projects in the Tiefbauamt, further development of BIM in the Tiefbauamt together with the Leiter BIM, for example in the areas:
• Development / elaboration of BIM basics, standards and BIM processes
• Preparation / maintenance of the TBA specialist data catalogs (information management)
• Development of BIM2GIS - GIS2BIM processes
• The workload is divided approximately equally into tasks as Project Manager Structures and BIM Specialist

Your profile

• University or university of applied sciences degree as a Civil Engineer or equivalent training or HF degree with extensive experience in the specialist field and knowledge of statics
• Experience in the planning and construction management of structures
• Sound BIM knowledge as well as practical experience in the application of the BIM method in projects, ideally as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager, and knowledge of the BIM information management process according to SN EN ISO 19650.
• Further training in the field of BIM / Digital Construction is an advantage (e.g., MAS Digitales Bauen, CAS modules, VDC Certification Program or comparable training).
• Sound specialist competence, independence, sense of responsibility and negotiation skills
• Proficient in written and oral expression

The Oberingenieurkreis IV of the kantonalen Tiefbauamt is responsible in the Emmental and Oberaargau for the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of the cantonal roads incl. all structures. In addition, it exercises the senior supervision over roads, paths and waters.
