IVD Business Project Manager (m/f/d) 100% #

The project manager leads complex cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives that support the company's business objectives. This role ensures alignment between functions, ensures rigorous project execution, and enables the success of initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and significant business impact.

Your role - Strategic. Global. Impactful. ##

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic and cross-functional projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Translate strategic priorities into structured project plans with clear milestones, deliverables, timelines, governance, and defined responsibilities.
• Coordinate and drive collaboration between cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Finance, and external partners to ensure timely decision-making and execution.
• Monitor project performance against scope, schedule, budget, and key indicators, ensuring the successful achievement of committed results.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and bottlenecks in project execution.
• Facilitate effective governance by preparing decision-ready analyses, facilitating project meetings, tracking actions, and escalating critical issues if necessary.
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to sponsors, leadership teams, and steering committees, ensuring transparency and stakeholder alignment.
• Promote continuous improvement of standards, methodologies, governance, and execution excellence in project management within the organization.

Your profile - Visionary. Collaborative. Data-driven. ##

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, chemistry, or a related discipline; additional training in management is an asset
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management in the IVD, medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors
• Proven experience in leading complex cross-functional projects from initiation to implementation in an international matrix organization
• Experience collaborating with product development, regulatory affairs, quality, manufacturing, commercial, and other cross-functional teams
• Strong expertise in project management; PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certification preferred
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influence skills, with the ability to effectively engage all organizational levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate technical and scientific information into business decisions, navigate ambiguity, and drive execution
• Proficiency in English and German (written and oral)
