Since 1973, the Verein FOYER BASEL has pursued the goal of combining pedagogical-therapeutic approaches with social pedagogy, pedagogy, psychology and psychiatry. Our inpatient, therapeutic offering includes the observation station, the residential group and the transit station.

In the transit station, we offer female adolescents aged 12 to 18 in crisis situations time-limited inpatient care - from a few days to several weeks. Our goal is to offer adolescents from all over Switzerland a structured, protective environment that meets their individual situation and personality.

Your profile:

• You are interested in working with female adolescents in acute crises
• You are capable of conflict and reflection as well as being willing to compromise
• You are resilient, flexible and look forward to a lively everyday working life
• You enjoy working in a team and value interdisciplinary cooperation
• You are process-, solution- and resource-oriented
• You bring a willingness to work irregular hours, including night and weekend shifts (approx. 12 weekends annually)
• You have completed training in Sozialpädagogik FH / HF or an equivalent qualification
• You have an interest in reference person work as well as in coordination and communication with the help system
