Industrial CAPEX Project Manager - Revamping & Process Engineering

• 25 août 2026 • 100% • Durée indéterminée • CHF 110-000 - 135-000 /an • Genève Within the Engineering department, you will lead investment projects (CAPEX) aimed at modernizing, optimizing, and making existing production facilities more reliable in a fine chemistry environment. You will primarily work on revamping projects, equipment replacement, process improvement, and compliance of industrial installations, with a strong presence in the field. Project budgets are generally between 100 kCHF and 5 MCHF, with several projects being managed simultaneously. Industrial CAPEX Project Manager - Revamping & Process Engineering Your responsibilities ## • Lead several CAPEX revamping projects on existing industrial installations. • Define needs with the Production, Maintenance, Process, HSE, and Quality teams. • Perform technical and economic feasibility studies. • Develop technical specifications and requirements documents. • Consult and manage suppliers as well as engineering companies. • Participate in the technical choices of equipment and engineering solutions. • Coordinate the different technical disciplines: • Process • Mechanical • Piping • HVAC • Utilities • Electricity • Instrumentation • Automation • Civil Engineering • Organize and lead design reviews (Design Reviews, HAZOP...). • Follow detailed studies, purchasing, fabrication, and on-site work. • Supervise FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup phases. • Guarantee compliance with HSE requirements, costs, deadlines, and quality. • Ensure budget monitoring, scheduling, and project reporting. -------------------- Technical environment ## Projects may specifically concern: • Revamping of production units • Replacement of reactors, tanks, heat exchangers, or pumps • Modifications of process and utility networks • Optimization of manufacturing lines • Improvement of industrial performance • Regulatory compliance (ATEX, PED, process safety) • Modernization of existing installations • Energy optimization • Shutdown work (shutdowns) -------------------- Profile sought ## • Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent. • 8 to 15 years of experience in industrial project management. • Significant experience in CAPEX, revamping, brownfield projects, or improvement of existing installations. • Experience acquired in one of the following sectors: • Fine chemistry • Specialty chemicals • Pharma • Biotechnologies • Flavors & Fragrances • Agrochemistry • Good understanding of industrial processes and process equipment. • Experience in managing multidisciplinary projects. • Knowledge of risk analyses (HAZOP, ATEX, PED/DESP) appreciated. • Professional French and English.
