Engineering Team Lead (100%) We are looking for an Engineering Team Lead (100%) Special machine construction in medical technology Our machines help to manufacture heart catheter systems that save lives every day. As Engineering Team Lead, you design the technology behind it. BW\-TEC AG, based in Höri (ZH), is a specialized company that develops and manufactures special machines for medical technology. Our approximately 60 employees work in a well-coordinated team - embedded in a global network of sister companies. Our systems are in use worldwide. As of October 1st or by arrangement, we are looking for an Engineering Team Lead who, with technical competence, leadership strength, and entrepreneurial thinking, shapes and actively develops our development and design processes. Your tasks: You lead your engineering team – technically and personally – and create an environment in which precision and innovation go hand in hand You build up our project management structures, optimize existing processes, and create the foundations for scalable growth You manage development and customer projects – from planning and resource allocation to timely implementation You work closely with production, purchasing, application, and assembly, and ensure that projects run smoothly You are the direct contact person for our customers – regarding special solutions, technical clarifications, and concept developments You work closely with our international sister companies and are part of a global engineering network You drive standardizations and improvements, focus specifically on modern tools and AI, and utilize the full potential of the CAD\-/PDM\-/ERP environment You develop your team – through mentoring, internal training, and a culture of learning What you bring with you: Completed studies as a mechanical engineer FH/ETH or comparable training Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the development and design of special machines Experience in leading interdisciplinary teams – you understand how to promote, challenge, and inspire people towards high performance A working leader through and through – close to the team and close to the technology Pronounced competence in project management – You maintain an overview even with complex projects and communicate clearly both internally and externally Very good knowledge of CAD systems (SolidWorks), PDM systems, and ERP, as well as confident handling of modern digital tools and AI applications Exact, structured, and solution-oriented way of working with high quality awareness Strong communication skills and high social competence Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken Joy of innovation and interest in technological and procedural development What awaits you with us: 41-hour week with min. 25 vacation days plus 5 divisible joker days per calendar year Above-average pension fund benefits – You pay 30%, we 70% Modern infrastructure with direct public transport connections as well as free parking spaces An open, appreciative company culture in a global network Long-term professional perspectives in a future-oriented industry Ready for the next step?
